Sandton’s favourite eco-friendly music festival returns to Sandton Central Park on Saturday 29 March. Let us:

This festival has definitely become a favourite of mine. Close to home and boasting a very chilled family vibe!

This edition of RISE AND SHINE sees the following South African acts take stage from 10am onward:

Michael Lowman – 10H30
Andra – 11H00
Bongeziwe Mabandla – 12H00
Yoav – 13H00
Jeremy Loops – 14H00
Tidal Waves – 15H00
Desmond & the Tutus – 16H00

Gates open bright and early at 8am. There will be a light Yoga session on the lawn at 9am, before a full day of music, food, nature and friends. Delicious cuisine will be provided by a number of high-end vendors sourced from the top food & design markets.

Sandton Central Park is on the corner of Grayston & Sandton Drives, with the entrance to the Park on 5th Street. It is a short 2km tuk-tuk ride from Sandton’s Gautrain Station – a great eco-friendly way to arrive. Parking is available at Sandton City for a flat fee of R10.
Nokia Rise & Shine, in association with Johannesburg City Parks, plant 1 tree for every 50 people who attend. The event raised 136 trees last year, resulting in a Green Footprint.
